Hi, welcome to my website!
My name is Anais Constandse and I'm an illustrator, painter and photographer, located in the Netherlands. 

I've always had a great love for art (in all of it's forms) and ever since I was child I've found great joy in expressing myself through making images. I first picked up a camera in my teens and later studied photography for a total of four years. I've only become more serious about drawing and painting in the last few years, and I'm happy to now create this space to showcase my work and which I thoroughly hope will bring joy to others too. 

My photography is mostly focused on (self)portraits and nature, and I love to create a certain atmosphere in my images, gravitating mostly to a fantasy like dreamy 
feeling, sometimes with a bit of an edge. 

In my illustrative work I also mainly focus on natural themes such as flowers and foliage. In my paintings and drawings I prefer a more minimalist style; black line work and use of rich colour with a hint of silver or gold. Although I have certain media and styles that I gravitate towards I also absolutely love to experiment with new tools and techniques to always find new ways to work. 

I make a variety of items, some printed in volume, some unique, that I aim to sell online and at markets.
